A long walk to freedom "by Nelson Mandela is the story about the time of struggle for freedom in South Africa. With this resuilt Nelson Mandela became the first black president of South Africa and created history when he has taken the oath on May 10,1994.
Respective people's and politicians from different countries had come to be part of the oath ceremony.While delivering his speech, Mandela thanked all those dignitaries and assured all countrymen that his country would never ever experience the same suppression of one by another. Now South Africa was going to enjoy Democracy a government of no discrimination was established on May 10,1994
From long time Black in Africa were exploited by the White people's this was the main reason behind this movement. He said that due to this harsh suppression Africa is the land of stars. Who will change the world.People must learn to hate first, because if they hate then they can be taught to love, He stated that" love comes from the opposite circumstances". He also Define that a brave man is not that who does not feel afraid but who conquers it.
In life, a man has two major responsibilities. First one his family members,and second is his country including countryman and society. Everyone fulfils his duty as per his inclination and interest. But it was very tough to fulfil in a country like South Africa. When Mandela Mandela became young then he understood that his freedom was just an illusion . In reality he was slave since birth and evidence of exploitation including his family.
According to Nelson Mandela , Freedom is also required for all those people who had repressed others in the past. They also have the right to have it because snatcher of other’s freedom is a prisoner of the same. Thus, the authoritarian is as much a prisoner as the oppressed. The authoritarian too is not free.
